Her service in Afghanistan and decades caring for patients have fueled her commitment to expanding healthcare access, advocating for veterans, promoting small business, and delivering common-sense leadership. Krista has been married for 23 years to her husband, a Federal Law Enforcement Officer whose family roots trace back to the 1700s here in Georgia—first in Augusta and then in Millen—where they built a legacy of service and a deep connection to the region’s proud agricultural heritage.
